sense of adventure
the tent is an easy-assembly warehouse based in Governor's Island in New York City. The climbing gym it presently contains is designed to be outlasted.

conventional parts make an unconventional form
The warehouse itself is designed with ease of assembly/replacement and maximizing utility in mind.

a campsite, indoors
The climbing gym is fitted with bouldering, lead, and speed climbing walls. The space under the bouldering wall serves as storage, while cabins placed throughout the building serve as exercise rooms, private study rooms, locker rooms, bathrooms, and office space.

climbing gym today, ??? tomorrow
All climbing gym architectural additions clip non-permanently to the warehouse structure, meaning they can be removed just as easily and non-destructively as they are installed.
The gym moves out, but the warehouse remains.
What comes next? a movie studio? An apocalypse shelter? It's up to the tenant.
