Alex Stewart is a designer and Master of Architecture student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Alex operates at the intersection of the technical and the aesthetic, using over 5 years of creative experience to bring out the beauty in practicality and the practicality in beauty. He works across scales, harnessing a range of sketching, modeling, rendering, and fabrication techniques to realize his designs. Whether it be via tablet or by hand, Rhino or Blender, Keyshot or V-Ray, 3-D printing or woodworking, Alex loves to make and his passion shines through his work.
Alex graduated cum laude with highest honors from Harvard University with a degree in Art, Film, and Visual Studies and a minor in History of Art and Architecture. He has worked as a designer at Meaningful Studio (Paris, FR), the MIT Media Lab (Cambridge, MA), and the Harvard Radcliffe Institute (Cambridge, MA).
When he's not designing or studying, Alex can be found rock climbing or laughing at movies with friends.
