19.5 is a mass timber student residence based in France and designed with university life and the residents' wellbeing in mind. Created while working at Meaningful studio in Paris.
the student comes first
with student comfort as the paramount goal of the project, design of the building began at the scale of the living space. Attention was paid to making accessible, spacious apartments outfitted with kitchens, bathrooms, and floor-to-ceiling windows. Interior renders by Benjamin Tovo.
Designing from the inside out
19.5's form factor revealed itself by fitting together the apartments like puzzle pieces.

19.5 comes equipped with common rooms, meeting rooms, study rooms, bathrooms, elevators, a gym, a media room, bike storage, mail rooms, laundry, and garbage disposal.
